午前中は大阪で絶賛展示されていたラバーダックのお見送りクルーズというイベントに参加して、名村造船所に旅立つアヒルさんを安治川の河口あたりまえで船で随行してきました。（写真はUSJのあたりです）

■ Appcelerator Mobile DevChallenge: iOS7 Edition

昨年のCODESTRONGに向けても開催されていたDevChallengeイベントがiOS7 Editionとして再登場です。
一等にはiPhone 5sとiPad mini(900USD相当)、3組？に100USDのAmazonギフト券やAppceleratorのTシャツなどのグッズ(120USD相当、だそうですw)が当たるようですよ。一応レギュレーションとしてはiOS7の新機能を用いていること、デザインフローがiOS7に適合していること、Appcelerator提供の独自機能を用いていること、ソーシャル連携もしくはエンタープライズ向けの機能を搭載していること、対象マーケットの存在・収益モデルの確実性、コンセプトの独創性などなど。詳細は上記ページをご覧下さい。
■ OS X Mavericks Preview

22日深夜に予定されているAppleのプレゼンテーションにて発売時期の提示があるのではないかといわれている新しいOS Xのバージョン、Marvericks上でTitanium(Studio)が動くのかを公式に人柱してくれています。
結論からいうと既知の問題があるので、できれば解決するまではアップグレードしないようにというお達しとなっています。
AndroidやTizenのエミュレータでもハードウェアアクセラレーションがらみの問題があるようです。正式に行けるようになればまた開発者blogでその旨の通知があると思うので、じっと待つ、もしくは人柱としてJIRAのチケットへ情報を書き込むかのいずれかを選択しましょう。

1泊2日で開催されるアンカンファレンス＆ハッカソンのイベントが11月2日からアトランタにて開催されます。こういうイベントも日本でやったらおもしろそうですね。
